Benefit of Inquiring of the Lord

“This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says,
“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit (benefit),
Who leads you in the way that you should go”
Isaiah 48:17AMP

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your time with friends and family. As for my family, we spent the past two weeks with friends in sunny Southern California. What an awesome refreshing time! It was kind of different not spending Christmas in cold weather. Hey, I’m not complaining at all 🙂

Now, a brand-new year is upon us. Yeahhh!! This means a new beginning, a blank page ready to be filled with new memories, and the hope of great things, surprises, and breakthroughs. It generates a good feeling of expectancy.

What do you expect to take place in this new year 2023?

Good health? Better relationships? A promotion at work? Finally, getting your degree? A closer relationship with the Lord? Writing your story? Whatever it is, you must know that nothing is automatic or comes by wishing.

If you want to live a blessed and abundant life, there is a model to follow. Jesus and king David understood it and always practiced it.

This model is inquiring. They both inquired of the Lord. As a matter of fact, David inquired of the Lord nine times in I & II Samuel and Jesus was always seeking His Father first before acting or speaking. He always was listening for direction.

So, in this hour, I encourage you to follow this model in your own relationship with God, because He promises to teach you to profit (benefit) and to lead you in the way we should go.

The definition of inquiring is to seek and learn by asking. To seek facts, information, or knowledge. Scrutinize, investigate, and question.

“Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you,
the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do;
for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner”

John 5:19

“Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man,
then you will know that I am He, and  that I do nothing of
Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things”

John 8:28

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who
comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a
rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”

Hebrews 11:6

Remember this, the Lord has always the very best for you. So, seek Him with all your heart, mind, and strength for what you really want or expect in this season.

If you want to invest in better knowing yourself, discovering your gifts and talents, digging for your deepest desires, and navigating your way out of a transition, I’m here to help.

Don’t delay act today!!

To your 2023 success,

Corinne xoxo
