Wow, can you believe we already finished the first quarter of the year!?!
So, the question begs, what have you done with the goals you set for yourself in the beginning of the year? How far have you come to accomplishing them? This week let’s review your progress or lack of it. I understand sometimes life can throw situations at us we have to deal with. But through it all, let us stay committed and continue to focus on what is the most important to us and necessary for our growth and well being.
Let’s review and adjust:
- What project(s) did you complete?
- What project(s) will you complete the next quarter?
- Did you struggle with any of your goals? If so, why?
- Which of your goals require re-commitment to complete?
- Which one do you want to remove completely?
- Have you celebrated your goals and rewarded yourself?
- What lessons did you learn this quarter?
- What would you do differently or improve on?
- What positive behavior will you continue perform?
There is a principal found in the Word of God that says, “As a man thinks within himself, so is he” Proverb 23:7. What you keep thinking or meditate about and what you keep before your eyes will eventually show up.
Like the story of Jacob when he kept striped and peeled branches before the eyes of his flocks and in their water for them to drink. This was conditioning them to give birth to speckled and spotted baby goats and calves (Genesis 30:37-43). It has been proven scientifically that this works. Check out this article “Jacob’s stick trick or God’s wisdom”. Remember this saying, “out of sight, out of mind”?
I want to make sure you set yourself for success in this 2nd quarter. So, I have a worksheet for you, created by Kimberly Ann Jimenez from “The Business Lounge”. So, download your “Quarterly Goal Planner” and keep it before your eyes and review it each day.
Now go, set your face like a flint and stay focused. Do not look to the left or to the right. Keep moving forward step by step. Remember you are blessed, well able and ready for a promotion.
